Here's a work similar to one i did some time ago. It is related to my manga ( it only has the first chapter out, but its something). Im planning to make two more of this, date release: probably not soon enough.

well, the concept is not bad, like her pose, and the way she's handling her sword, her cocky smile, and the source of light from the top, but you can take it further, first of all, I am gonna talk about the shading, the source of light from the top is a good idea, but we can't clearly see any shadow, well, there is some shadows, but not enough, and of course the highlights too, you need to work on that aspect to make your drawing looks more elaborate, you'll create another "dimension" with that, and the ambiant will be better, as for the proportions, overall, it's good, but the arm on the left (my left) with the sword is a little bit awkward, but it's not easy to work on some angles, so maybe having references will help a lot, finally, you can add some glow on the sword, it would make it shine in the shadow
